Are you a born adventurer?

If so, then why not find out more about Battersea’s new Pyrenees riding challenge, which will take place in August 2010 to raise vital funds for the Home? This experience is a fantastic opportunity for all adventurous animal lovers to embark on the experience of a lifetime; trekking through the beautiful Eastern Pyrenees. During this challenge, you will ride through some of the most breath taking scenery in the world in a team of 10 to 15 people, with experienced tour guides. The highest point will take you to over 2500m. You will pass through Spanish villages of the Cerdagne, the Cols Rouges and the Carlit region, a desert in the sunniest region of France. Share time and space with the horses and soak up the ambience. Best of all, you’ll be enjoying this fabulous adventure in the knowledge that you will be helping to raise money for the 12,000 dogs and cats the Battersea cares for every year.
